Loretta has been my idol for many years. I have learned to play and sing allot of her most popular songs. Coal Miners daughter reminds me of when I was a little girl and my dad worked at the coal mines too. Those were hard times. Loretta is a inspiration to me and I hope I will be able to meet her someday. If not here maybe in heaven.

I was born and raised in michigan  but my roots you can say is there in Houston County tennessee where my family is from.  I love country music my father who once was a DJ use to put together  grand ole opry shows here in the Detroit area back in the sixties and I met a few of the stars when i was a kid. I love antiques and most anything that is old. I have 3 grown daughters and now can enjoy my freedom to travel to Tennessee when ever I want.

I have seen her movie I bet at least 20 times and enjoy it as much as the first time I watched it. I read her books and I get such a feeling of knowing her , my own parents who are both from tennessee remind me of how simular their lives were. I just enjoy her so much

I am a "Kentucky girl" too.  I am a chef with a culinary arts degree.  I have one daughter, Aubrey,  who just turned ten years old.  She loves Loretta's music and has since she was three years old.  I have a strong singing voice and can belt out a Loretta Lynn song loud and clear with a Kentucky "twang".  I have been singing to my baby girl since she was in the womb.  I used to have to take her to the "barn dance" outside of Renfro Valley Kentucky every saturday nite when she was three and four years old so she could dance.  She would always request a Loretta song from whoever was singing.  As a little one she would start to cry when she heard "Coal Miners Daughter", as if she knew the meaning of "going back home" and the memories of home. We own the movie Coal Miners Daughter and have watched it together ever since Aubrey was four years old.  We watched it a month or so ago and decided to join the fan club. It is important that generations to come know about the strong women who came before.                    

Growing up my mom had all the Loretta Lynn albums.  Loretta and my mother looked so much alike back then (late sixties, early seventies).  I was very young and I thought that my mother must have known Loretta, maybe they went to school together, because Mom owned all those albums.  I didnt know then that Loretta was "famous".  HAHA.  Loretta's music was part of my daily life in those days and hearing Loretta's music always reminds me of growing up, and reminds me of my mom and those days.  When I grew up I went to see "Butcher Holler" for myself, and we met and talked to Herman. After seeing where she came from and how her life evolved I was amazed that she ever made it out of that "holler"!  I love her little "spitfire" nature and admire her strength and what I consider "bravery" in how she handled herself and all that she has endured in her lifetime. I refer to her as a role model of strength for my daughter, because that is what this little country girl from Kentucky is to me.  It's funny how you can love someone so much, whom you have never met.  Love to you Loretti          

I am a true country music fan who appreciates real country music.  To show my appreciation for Loretta and her music, I made the replica Opry microphone and guitar to honor Loretta's 50th anniversary with the Grand Ole Opry.

I am 51 yrs old ,I work at a hospital in Vicksburg Ms,I have 2 grown children and 6 grandbabies.I grew up listening to Loretta Lynn,Conway Twitty,my mama was a huge fan also ,she loved Loretta Lynn and Conway Twittys music.I have been going to the ranch every year and i bring my grandbabies to ,you can ask them where they want to go and they will say to Ms Loretta Lynns Ranch.

Ms Loretta Lynn is like part of my family because ever since I was a little girl i have listen to Ms Loretta ,my mama had all her records and she played them everyday cause we didnt have no tv ,just an old record player,my childhood has so many memories of listening to Ms Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty singing,today my grandbabies ages 9,8,5,4,1,7mos know who Ms Loretta Lynn Is mostly the first 4 grandbabies,I bring them every year if possible for them to come and we all have a great time.we all love Ms Loretta Lynn .
