Loretta and my Grandma Dreama are the same age and grew up in the same ways!!!!  My grandma is from West Virginia and her father was a coal miner, she is one of 14 kids, she still lives in WVa today!!!! Lorettas music is very inspirational and also very true!! Loretta will always be the first lady of country music and will always be a true idol to me!!

I was born in a little town in north Georgia called Chatsworth I was one of the last few people to be born in Murray County before the hospital burned down in 1974.I still own a house over there but I live in Cleveland Ga now where I have been now for the last 2 years. My dreams is to meet Loretta Lynn and maybe someday live next to her place in the mountains that has been my dream all my life. 

Loretta Lynn is A dream come true she has made country what it is today to me . She will always be my Loretta in my heart. Her and Patsy is the 2 female singers that could melt my heart.

I am 37 years old and I am married and I have 4 children.  I stay very busy being mom to children who are involved in more extra curricular activities than should be allowed.  I work a full time job for the State of Alabama.  I work in the court system so there is never a dull moment at home or on the job.  I enjoy watching my children play ball, watching movies that make me squall like a baby and spending time with my girlfriends. 

Unfortunately exercise is not a favorite hobby of mine but it should be:)  I love listening to all country music and even though I wasn't even born at the time the old time country is my favorite no matter the gender.  I do love all country music though even the new stuff.  BUT the oldies are the best!!!!

Well I can't really explain how or why I became such a Loretta fan.  I love her music yes but it is really deeper than that.  I admire who she is and where she is from and her family ties.  My mom is one of thirteen children and was born in a very poor family but were very close nit.  My granddaddy died and left 13 children behind to raise with the oldest being 17 and the youngest 2.  They all lived a hard life in that they knew what it meant to work like adults in the fields when they were just little ones.  They picked cotton and worked the farm and even though I myself did not grow up in that my mother did and always told me her stories of her childhood.  Loretta sings about things that matter and she has spunk which I love!!!!  She isn't scared and wasn't scared to sing about things that were controversial at the time and that seem so small now.  She was a pioneer in not just women's ability to make chart topping music but for real women everywhere that needed a voice.  I have all of her music and I love it all.  I love to hear it and sing it.   My children have grown up listening to it and now my 18 year old and 15 year old listen and love it too.  They have their friends singing and listening and that is how we will pass her legend on.  My 2 best girlfriends and I are headed in the morning to Hiawassee Georgia, Georgia Mtn Fairgrounds to see Loretta in concert tomorrow night and I am so excited I can hardly breath!!!!  It's a 41/2 hour trip and we are ready to sing Loretti all the way there!!!!

Am 59 years old and have been a Loretta Lynn fan since I was 12 years old. She has always been my favorite. Memorizd Dear Uncle Sam when it was on flip side of a 45 record.
